Online counselling
Who can online counselling help?
Online counselling can be helpful to those with issues such as depression,
anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, trauma and relationship issues. It
can also help those who do not have a specific issue, yet feel that
something isn’t quite right. It can help you to process your feelings and
emotions, which can lighten the impact that they have on your life.
Is online counselling as effective as seeing a counsellor in person?
Yes. Many people find that having counselling online is equally as
effective as having counselling in person. Online counselling could be
more convenient and accessible to some, plus being able to speak to
your counsellor from a familiar and comfortable location may help you to
feel more relaxed.
How do we connect online?
I offer counselling via Zoom, which is a video conferencing platform. This
allows me to connect with my clients in their chosen location. I will send
a personal link via email or WhatsApp which will allow you access to our
session.

What equipment do I need for online counselling?
Zoom is accessible from a laptop, desktop, smartphone or tablet, which will
need to be charged. You will also need a good internet connection.
Another necessity for effective counselling is a quiet, private room/space
where you are able to speak freely without being interrupted or
overheard.
