About Me
Hi, I'm Lesley, a qualified counsellor with experience working both within an agency and in private practice. I've worked with clients who have a broad range of reasons for seeking counselling.​

It's important to me that our work together is at your pace, ensuring that you feel safe to explore your emotions, thoughts and beliefs in a non-judgemental, open-minded, and compassionate environment.

Understanding that everybody is unique, I am able to draw upon different skills and aspects of my training to ensure that the work we do together is appropriate to you individually, taking into account your situation and needs at all times.

In addition to working face to face, I am certified to work online and offer counselling via Zoom. This gives you the freedom and convenience to engage with me from any location where you feel safe and comfortable.

British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
The BACP is the leading professional association for members of the counselling profession in the UK. They work to promote the role and relevance of the counselling professions and help to develop safe, ethical and competent practice, by providing support to counsellors, helping them to better serve their clients.
Being a Registered member of the BACP demonstrates that I meet high standards of proficiency, professionalism and ethical practice. The BACP register is a public record of counsellors and psychotherapists who meet or exceed their recommended quality standards. These standards cover my training, supervision, continued professional development and my commitment to working professionally and ethically, by following their extensive Ethical Framework and guidelines.

Online Telephone & Counselling
As a counsellor, I have always believed in the power of adaptability, and with this in mind, I sought out the Online & Telephone Counselling Certification. This course has given me new skills and information which allows me to offer counselling online safely and ethically. This certification has enhanced my existing counselling qualifications, allowing me to provide support to more people, regardless of their location. By embracing technology, I have found a way to engage with those who are unable to travel or would prefer to be in a place of their choosing.
